TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
BRING TO A BOIL:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. hot water

MIX:

2 c. white sugar
2 c. flour

Pour boiling mixture over this mixture.

ADD:

1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Bake in a 10 x 15 inch greased pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts (optional)

Bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Spread over cake while it is still hot. It will harden as it cools.
