1 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
1 c. water

Boil together to hard boil; drop a little in cold water. Beat 3 egg whites. Add 1 cup nuts and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Add egg whites and nuts to syrup and beat until thick. Pour into a buttered loaf pan.

When firm, coat with melted chocolate. My family has made this candy for well over 50 years.
