1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
3 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream first 3 ingredients. Add next 4 ingredients, then add milk and vanilla. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 8 minutes at 350. Remove from oven, top with 1/2 large marshmallow then bake 2 minutes more. When cool, frost with powdered sugar frosting.
