APPLE OR RHUBARB CRISP 
4 c. apples or rhubarb, sliced
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. water

Mix and put in an 8 x 8 inch cake pan.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. oatmeal
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix in the order given and crumble over fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Serve with cream or ice cream.
