1 pkg. Duncan Hines deep chocolate deluxe cake mix
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
Pecan halves, if desired

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Drop from a teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet. If desired, top each cookie with a pecan half. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, until cookie tests done with a toothpick. Cool on cookie sheet about 1 minute, then remove to rack to finish cooling. Makes 4 to 5 dozen 2 1/2 inch cookies.
