CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIE 
1/2 c. butter, softened
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla (add to milk)

Place softened butter, sugar and egg in large mixing bowl. Beat until well creamed. Add chocolate; blend. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk/vanilla mixture to the butter and sugar mixture. Beat only long enough to form a soft dough, about 2 minutes. Add nuts and beat a few strokes. Drop from teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake about 10 to 12 minutes at 400°F.

Note: Makes 50 small or 40 average cookies. Ice when cool with chocolate icing if desired.
