BANANA - NUT BREAD (CAKE) | |
1 c. butter 2 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sour cream 2 c. sugar 2 tsp. lemon juice 2 c. mashed bananas 3 1/2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla and juice. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well. Add bananas. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Fold in nuts. Pour in 2 greased and floured loaf pans, or one bundt pan for cake or 4 small aluminum foil loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes. |
