LAYERED ENCHILADA CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 (6 1/2 oz.) pkg. tortilla chips
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
2/3 c. water
2 c. grated cheese
1 (7 oz.) can pitted black olives

Brown beef, onion and garlic salt. Add seasonings, olives and tomato sauce. In a loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3 alternate layers of chips, meat and cheese. Save 1/2 cup of cheese and sprinkle over top. Add water. Cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving. May use less chili powder.
