PIGS IN A BLANKET | |
1 lg. head cabbage 2 c. uncooked rice 1 lb. hamburger 1 can tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. butter 1 lg. can V-8 (vegetable juice) 1 c. water from cabbage Separate leaves from head of cabbage and steam for 15 minutes. Let cool. Mix hamburger, rice, tomatoes sauce, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and butter all together. Roll into balls. Stuff balls into cabbage leaves. Place leaves in roaster; fold down. Cover with V-8 juice and water. Cover roaster. Roast in oven for one hour at 350 degrees. |
