BANANA SPLIT CAKE | |
3 c. graham cracker crumbs 1 1/2 sticks butter 2 eggs 2 sticks butter 2 c. confectioners' sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 lg. can crushed pineapple 5 bananas 2 pkgs. frozen strawberries 1 lg. carton Cool Whip 1/2 c. crushed nuts Mix graham cracker crumbs and 1 1/2 sticks butter; crumble. Spread and press into bottom of 13"x9"x2" pan. Bake for 7 minutes at 350 degrees and cool. Beat together eggs, 2 sticks butter, confectioners' sugar and vanilla for 20 minutes. Spread mixture evenly over crust. Drain pineapple; spread over cream mixture. Cover pineapple with sliced bananas. Drain frozen strawberries; dot on top of bananas. Cover cake with Cool Whip. Sprinkle generously with nuts. Refrigerate overnight. |
