24 HOUR PICKLES 
Boil 2 qts. water
1 c. vinegar
1/4 c. salt
1/2 c. sugar
About 9 cucumbers or according to size

Cook all above together, then let it cool and pour over pickles in jar. Pack in jar with garlic and dill. Its good to layer them, garlic, some dill, then pickles, then start over.
