SHRIMP AND SCALLOP BROCHETTE | |
1/2 c. oil 1/4 c. dry vermouth 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger 1 clove garlic, crushed 2 lbs. raw large shrimp shelled and deveined 1 lb. raw scallops Combine oil, vermouth, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic to make a marinade. Marinade shrimp and scallops for 30 minutes. Thread onto bamboo skewers that have been soaked in water. Broil, turning frequently and basting with marinade, for 5 minutes or until cooked. Serves 6. |
