NANA'S BANANA BREAD | |
1 c. pecans 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 stick butter 2 c. flour 1 tbsp. water 3 bananas, mashed (over ripe makes better bread) Separate eggs and beat whites (not stiff). Beat egg yolks. Soften butter, add sugar and mix well. Add egg yolks, mix. Add egg whites, mix. Add part of flour. To the other, add pecans. Mix flour with butter and mixture. Add bananas. Mix well. Add pecans and flour. Add soda and water. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-60 minutes in greased, floured loaf pan. |
