RAISIN CREAM PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
3 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. raisins
9 inch baked pie shell

Mix flour and sugar in pan. Add milk, mix well. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly. When it begins to thicken, remove from heat. Stir 3 tablespoons of thickening into slightly beaten egg yolks. Pour this back into thickening; add the raisins and butter. Return to heat; stir until thick. Pour into pie shell.

TOP MERINGUE:

3 egg whites (from above)
3 tbsp. sugar

Beat egg whites until stiff and adding 3 tablespoons sugar. Put on top of pie and place in 350 degree oven until brown.
