SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sour cream or more

Simmer raisins and water until tender. Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt and flour. Beat egg yolks with milk. Stir into sugar mixture. Add to raisin-water mixture, stirring constantly over medium-high heat, until very thick, 5-10 minutes. Add sour cream. Blend and pour into baked 9 inch pie shell.

Make meringue by beating 3 egg whites until soft peaks form. Add 6 tablespoons sugar gradually until stiff peaks form. Pile on filling, sealing pie shell. Bake 350 degrees, 5-10 minutes.
