SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE | |
1 c. raisins, cooked soft in water 2 egg yolks 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. plain flour 1 c. sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt Cook egg yolks, sugar, flour, and sour cream until thick. Add well drained raisins, vanilla, and salt. Mix together and pour into baked pie shell. Cover with meringue made of two egg whites. Beat egg whites into soft peaks and slowly add 4 tablespoons of sugar; beating until sugar has dissolved. Spread meringue over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes until browned. |
