SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 c. raisins
1 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar

Makes 6- to 7-inch pie; double for 9-inch pie.

Cook raisins until tender. Cook mixture of sour cream, cornstarch, salt and sugar in double boiler until thick. Add 2 egg yolks (beaten) to hot mixture slowly. Continue cooking for 3 or 4 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla, nutmeg and raisins (drained). Cool. Put in pie crust. Top with meringue. Double recipe for 9-inch pie.
