CHEESEBURGER PIE | |
1 (9 inch) pastry shell, unbaked 8 slices cheese 1/2 c. tomato sauce 1/3 c. onion, chopped 3 eggs, beaten 1 lb. lean ground beef 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped 1 beef-flavor bouillon cube Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake shell 8 minutes. Remove from oven. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Cut 6 slices of cheese into pieces. In large skillet, brown meat and pour off fat. Add tomato sauce, green pepper and bouillon. Cook and stir until bouillon dissolves. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs, flour and cheese pieces. Turn into pastry shell. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Arrange remaining 2 slices of cheese on top. Bake for 3 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. |
