CHICKEN AND HERB DUMPLINGS 
1 c. Bisquick
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 lb. chicken
3 tbsp. shortening
1 can cream of chicken soup

HERB DUMPLINGS:

1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. parsley
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 c. Bisquick

Mix Bisquick, salt, paprika and pepper. Coat chicken. Brown in shortening. Remove chicken; drain off fat. Mix soup and milk in skillet. Add chicken. Cover; heat to boiling. Cook over low heat about 45 minutes or until chicken is tender. Prepare dumplings as directed on Bisquick box adding parsley and poultry seasoning. Drop on boiling chicken by large spoonsful. Cook 10 minutes uncovered and then 10 minutes covered.
