BEER BATTER 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 can beer
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
Cayenne pepper, to taste
2 tsp. parsley

Mix together until flour is all dissolved. Place fish (very good with mushrooms), onion rings, and fried vegetables into batter; covering thoroughly. Shake off excess batter, put in hot oil and cook 5 to 7 minutes.
