JOHNNY MARZETTI 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. green pepper
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 sm. can mushrooms
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1/4-1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. broad egg noodles

Cook noodles; drain and set aside. In a large skillet cook ground beef, onion and garlic; cook until meat starts to brown. Add celery, peppers, tomato sauce, mushrooms and Italian seasoning, coarse pepper. Simmer about 20 minutes.

Grease a 13 x 9 inch glass baking dish and alternate layers of noodles, meat sauce and cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
