AUNT ROSE'S CORN BREAD 
3 1/2 lb. flour
1 1/2 lb. cornmeal
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
1 lg. cake yeast
5 c. warm water

Mix flour and cornmeal in pot and make a well. Add sugar, salt, oil and yeast dissolved in warm water. Mix until all the flour is used. Knead until dough is smooth. Let raise until doubled in size. Punch down and let raise again. Make 4 small buns and place side by side in a loaf pan (13 x 4 1/2 inches) or clover leaf rolls can be made. Let raise an hour and bake at 350 degrees until nicely browned, about 60 minutes. Loaves may be broken apart and toasted on cookie sheets in warm oven.
