GRANOLA | |
6 c. oats 1 c. coconut 1 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. sunflower seeds 1 c. cashews, peanuts, or almonds 1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg 1/2 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. honey 1/3 c. water 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 to 2 c. any type of dried fruit (raisins, dates, apricots, bananas, etc.) Combine oats, coconut, wheat germ, sunflower seeds, nuts, and cinnamon in large roasting pan. Mix honey, oil, water, and vanilla. Pour over dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, stirring frequently. Cool and add dried fruits as desired. Store tightly covered and refrigerate. |
