MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. popcorn, popped on stove

Put in brown paper bag after popping. Combine all ingredients except soda, vanilla and corn. Cook 2 minutes in microwave. Take out and stir and return to microwave for 2 more minutes. Add soda and vanilla and pour on top of your popcorn in bag. Shape well and put in microwave (bag & all) for 1 1/2 minutes, remove and shake well and return to microwave for 1 1/2 more minutes. Remove and shake well and put in pan and let cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
