MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
16 c. popped corn
1 c. Spanish peanuts
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. Karo
1 stick butter
1-2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt sugar, syrup, butter and salt. Boil 3 minutes. Stir after each. Add baking soda and vanilla. Stir well; will become foamy. Place popcorn in double brown bags. Pour mixture over popcorn and stir. Microwave 1 minute. Stir. Microwave 1 minute. Stir. Microwave 30 seconds. Stir. Pour on cookie sheet. Cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
