CHILES RELLENOS (Tex-Mex) 
1 lb. ground round steak
2 slices soft bread, soaked in 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
4 green peppers, hollowed
1/2 c. ground pecans
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
4 slices Velveeta cheese

Mix ground round steak thoroughly with bread, raisins, pecans and seasonings. Stuff peppers with this mixture and stand upright in baking dish covered with sauce. Bake in 350 degree oven for an hour. About 10 minutes before serving, top each pepper with slice of cheese. Serves 4.

SAUCE:

Combine: 1/2 c. water 1 chopped onion 1 chopped green pepper 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper

Cook 20 to 25 minutes, stirring frequently.
