HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE 
4 oz. butter
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
4 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs and sugar. Add flour and salt, beat again. Sprinkle baking powder over top. Melt butter in milk, do not boil. Add vanilla to milk. Pour over top of batter and FOLD IN. Do not beat. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
