LOVE CANDY (DIVINITY) 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
1/2 c. hot water
Pinch of salt
1 egg white, whipped stiff

Boil sugar, syrup, water and salt until it spins a fine thread. Pour over beaten egg white and beat, with electric beater, until it loses its gloss and begins to set up.

Drop by small spoonfuls on wax paper. The outer part will have a thin crust, center will be creamy. (A drop of red color makes a pretty pink. Do not make on a rainy or damp day.)
