BEEF STEW
1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat (pork chop suey is a nice change)
6 carrots
4 potatoes
12 sm. white onions
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 bay leaf
1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. oil
1 c. beef bouillon (can be used with pork chop suey meat also)
4 c. water

Coat meat with flour (set excess flour aside). Heat oil in pan. Brown meat on both sides. Put meat, onions, carrots, potatoes, bouillon, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, salt, sugar and water in crock pot. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Mix remaining flour (about 1/4 cup) with a small amount of water. Put in crock pot and cook to thicken on high for about 15 minutes (at this time put any vegetables in that you like that doesn't need alot of cooking, i.e. canned beans, mushrooms).
