BELGIUM WAFFLES 
1 lb. butter (real)
8 lg. eggs
1 sm. can Pet evaporated milk
1 lb. white sugar (2 cups)
1 lb. brown sugar (2 1/2 c. packed)
2 tsp. salt
6 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
6 c. flour (or more)

Soften butter, cream in sugar. Add milk and well beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually fold into the creamed mixture to form the consistency of stiff cookie dough. Heat waffle iron to 350 degrees. Test with a tablespoon of dough in each section. It should be golden brown in 3 minutes. Bake out the waffles and enjoy with fruit or syrup.
