CREAMY CHEESE PIE | |
CRUST: 20 graham crackers, crushed 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted 2 tbsp. sugar Preheat oven to 300°F. Combine ingredients in pie pan and shape crumbs using back of spoon. Bake at 300°F for 5 minutes. Cool. FILLING: 1 1/2 (8 oz. ea.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup sugar Increase oven temperature to 350°F. Beat eggs; add sugar and cream cheese. Mix well, then pour into cooled pie shell. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Cool before adding topping. TOPPING: 1 cup dairy sour cream 4 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla Mix and pour over filling and bake at 350°F for 5 minutes only. Note: Pie should be at room temperature for at least 1/2 hour before serving. Do not serve straight from refrigerator. Submitted by: Julie Craig |
