PEACH BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. pureed peaches
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans or walnuts

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Mix well. Add pureed peaches and dry ingredients. Mix well. Add vanilla and nuts. Divide evenly into 3 small loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool before removing from pans.
