MEXICAN CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 pkg. corn tortillas
1 sm. bottle picante sauce
1 reg. bottle Old El Paso thick and chunky salsa
1 pkg. Colby cheese
2 cans refried beans

Brown meat. Season with salt and pepper. Line a greased baking dish with tortillas.

Mix picante and salsa together. Pour enough of this mixture to cover tortillas. Layer meat, beans and cheese. Add one more layer of above leaving off the cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Add remaining cheese at end of baking time.

To spice up recipe--add 1 small can green chilis and 1 package of taco mix to hamburger mixture.
