BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix cream cheese with egg, sugar and salt. Beat. Stir in chocolate chips.

CAKE MIXTURE:

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. water
2/3 c. oil
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, and baking soda. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla.

Fill cups half full of chocolate batter. Top each one with a teaspoon of cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
