3 (16 oz.) cans pork & beans 1 lb. pork sausage, hot or mild 1 fl. oz. Grandma's molasses "unsulphured" 1 - 1 1/2 c. brown sugar (according to taste) 1 med. chopped onion Combine beans, molasses and brown sugar in 6 quart pan. Bring to boil and reduce to simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally. Combine sausage and onion in skillet and brown. Add to beans and simmer for about 1 hour. |
