1 qt. milk 6 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. flour (2 c. if you don't want egg taste) 2 tsp. melted butter Lekvar (or your favorite filling) 1. Lightly beat eggs (not to foam stage). 2. Add milk, vanilla and butter. 3. Mix in flour, a little at a time. 4. Fry in small frying pan, greased with Crisco, turning to brown both sides. 5. If mixture seems too thin, add more flour. 6. Spread lekvar on individual nalesniki, roll, serve warm. A must at Christmas Eve dinner. Leave the frying to the ones who want to help. |
