LAYERED SALAD | |
1 head lettuce 6 hard boiled eggs (grated) 1 can LeSeuer peas, well drained 1 onion, chopped fine 1 c. celery, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 1 can water chestnuts 1 jar Bacos 2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise 4 tbsp. sugar Put layers of each ingredient in 9x12 oblong dish in order listed. Mix sugar and mayonnaise and spread over top. Sprinkle grated cheese over top of mayonnaise. You can reserve a little of Bacos to sprinkle over cheese. Refrigerate several hours before serving (even overnight). This is a recipe given to me by Christine Wester before she passed away. |
