PEANUT BUTTER KISS COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. peanut butter (any type)
1 egg

Mix all ingredients. If too moist add a bit more sugar. Make into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press a chocolate kiss or star in middle of each ball. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Let cool a few minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Makes 2 dozen cookies. (Quick and easy for kids to make!)

These are the best, although, I suggest using Brach's Chocolate stars instead of kisses. It just tastes better to me!

Don't you mean you should put the kiss on the cookie AFTER baking the cookie? If you kiss it first, the kiss will just melt all over the place!

You push the kiss onto the cookie after it comes out of the oven. The cookies is still soft and takes the shape well. The kiss will melt a little on the hot cookie. Allow to cool. My daughter loves to make and eat these.

Actually, the kisses do not melt all over the place when you put them in the oven. I've always put them on first and have never had a problem :)

Recipe is great, makes super moist cookies. I cooked for 10 minutes, then added kisses. I had to let them cool on the pan for ~5 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack because they came out so soft. NICE EASY RECIPE FOR KIDS!
