BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
1 lg. onion
1 stick butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 box frozen broccoli
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt butter in skillet. Cut up onion in very small pieces. Add to butter. Cook the onion until brown. Remove from stove. Cook rice as directed on package. Remove from stove. Cook broccoli until tender; drain. Combine rice, onion, butter, broccoli and cream of mushroom soup and salt. Stir well. Pour into casserole dish and bake 350 degrees until brown on top.
