RAISIN COOKIES 
1 c. raisins
3/4 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
1 c. water

Cook until thick and let cool.

COOKIES:

2 eggs
2 c. shortening
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Stir in enough flour to make stiff dough. Roll out 1/4 inches thick, cut with round cookie cutter, place on greased cookie sheet. Put 1 teaspoon filling in the middle of each cookie and top with another cookie. Press edges down with fork to seal and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until drown.
