JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. orange juice
1 tsp. salt

FILLING:

6 apples, peeled and sliced
1 tbsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. sugar

Mix filling ingredients and set aside.

Beat batter for 5 minutes. Grease and flour tube pan. Pour 1/2 batter in tube pan, and spread 1/2 filling on top of batter. Pour rest of batter on apple layer and spread remainder of filling on top. So it's batter, apples, batter, apples. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. When cake cools invert and enjoy.
