FRIED BANANAS (BERMUDA STYLE) 
3 firm ripe bananas
3 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/16 tsp. ground black pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. light brown sugar

Peel bananas and cut in half lengthwise. Roll in flour mixed with salt and black pepper. Melt butter in a 10-inch skillet, in which arrange bananas. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Fry until browned underneath. Turn and brown the other side. Serve as a meat accompaniment.
