1 box devil's food cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling mix
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix pie filling, eggs and flavoring; add dry cake mix. Mix real good by hand. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
5 tbsp. butter
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

Boil sugar, milk and butter. After bringing to a boil take off stove and add chocolate chips until melted. Pour over hot cake.
