CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY CAKE | |
1 devils food cake mix 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 tsp. almond extract 2 eggs, beaten Mix by hand. Bake in oblong (9 x 13) pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. FROSTING: 1 c. sugar 5 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. milk 1 sm. (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Melt first three ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips. Spread on cake before it cools. |
