PUMPKIN COOKIES 
1 c. shortening (butter)
1 c. sugar
1 c. pumpkin
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins

Mix all together; mix well. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degrees about 15 minutes.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. milk
1 c. XXX sugar

Melt butter; add milk and brown sugar. Heat until dissolved. Add vanilla and confectionery sugar. Cool slightly then frost cookies.
