BAKED SCALLOPS HEARTHSIDE 
1 1/2 to 2 lb. sea scallops
4 oz. melted butter
1 oz. sherry (2 tbsp.)
1 c. fresh bread crumbs
Salt and pepper

Using some of the melted butter, butter bottom only of casserole dish before putting in scallops. Cut scallops in half if large. Season with salt and pepper. Pour wine over scallops. Cover with bread crumbs and pour remaining butter over crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 4.
