BUTTER CREAM FROSTING 
1/2 c. butter
1 lb. powdered sugar, unsifted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg
2 tbsp. milk

Cream butter until soft. Add salt. Gradually add remaining ingredients alternately and blend until of spreading consistency.
