SAUSAGE-EGG BAKE | |
8 slices bread, cubed 2 c. shredded American cheese 1 lb. ground sausage or cubed ham 4 eggs 3 c. milk 3/4 tsp. dry mustard 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup Place bread in greased 8 x 12 casserole. Top with cheese. Brown and drain sausage. Place sausage on top of cheese. Combine eggs with 2 1/2 cups milk and dry mustard. Beat well. Pour over bread, etc. Refrigerate overnight. Before baking dilute soup with 1/2 cup of milk. Pour over bread. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
