AMISH SUGAR COOKIES 
2 eggs
2 sticks butter, softened
1 c. cooking oil
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter together. Add beaten eggs and oil. Add other ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.

Roll dough in balls the size of walnuts. Press in sugar and flatten with fork. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
