1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. nutmeats
2 tsp. vanilla

Shape in 2 or more rolls. Wrap in wax paper. Store in refrigerator or freezer. Slice with thin knife. About 8 minutes at 375 degrees.

Hope taught Priscilla to make these when Mike and Priscilla lived in Connecticut. They became a family favorite. It was fun living near them.
